Espresso Blend Fair Trade & Organic

We’ve been using Kalani’s espresso beans since 2007 when we discovered Kalani at Hardcore in Sebastopol. Won’t ever switch!

I use this blend in my Gaggia super automatic on fine grind. I have tried many over the years and this one is my all time favorite. I used to drink coffee for 3 months then take 6 months off as I got tired of it. Not with this one. I have been drinking it for about 8 years non-stop! You get all the notes without the excess bitterness so characteristic of many coffee house (think SB) blends. It is always fresh even if I get a 3-6 month supply. It arrives quickly and I get free shipping and generous discounts of 15-20% at times.There is a famous Swiss blend in a tin packed with NO for about 2.5 times the price of this coffee. Why bother? I live in NM and with the shipping it still feels like I buy local. (I think this is my second review for this coffee and I don't write reviews for many products, except maybe to warn customers away from some of them!!!)

Consistent delicious brew!

This is the only coffee my husband will drink at home. We started drinking it when we lived in California and a local coffee shop used it (Hardcore). When we moved back East, we started ordering it online!

This bean/roast is superb as a short expresso or as an alongé, which I prefer. Beautiful notes that hold over use of the 12 lbs we purchase each order, likely due to the high quality bags used to package it. I use it in a super automatic and never have a problem with the grinder clogging. Look forward to it each morning for years now. Beats a very well known Swiss brand at nearly 1/2 the cost!
